Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) under the NDIS provides temporary housing support for participants who are waiting for long-term housing to become available. It is ideal for individuals transitioning from hospital care, rehab, or a crisis situation, offering a safe and supported environment for up to 90 days. MTA is funded separately from other supports and includes essential services such as personal care, meals, and access to support workers, ensuring participants’ needs are met during the interim period.
